Job Description and Requirements • Specialty: Med Surg • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 03/30/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, days • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts with 48 guaranteed hours per week • Overtime pay after 48 hours worked • Float to all inpatient units as needed • Every other weekend and every other holiday required • Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum callback • Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility location • 2 years minimum experience required, Trauma Level II experience highly preferred • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS • EPIC charting experience required • Work on Medical and Pediatrics unit (travelers do not take pediatric patients) • Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights • Treat adult patients with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, UTI, sepsis, wound care, and other medical conditions • Any color scrubs permitted • Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred • Must demonstrate hard work ethic, resilience, change management skills, independence, and positive attitude • Willingness to collaborate with team and ancillary staff required Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive medical center providing a full range of inpatient services.
