ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Abilene, Texas.
Job Description and Requirements

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to ICU/CCU patients utilizing the nursing process
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Provide care for patients with a broad range of medical conditions requiring critical care expertise
• Must live 150 miles or more from facility
• May be required to float to different floors or other campus locations
• Required certifications: RN license, BCLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Texas RN license required with license in hand for submittal
• Minimum 2 years experience in service line required
• Travel experience preferred
• Altera charting system experience preferred but not required
• Must complete facility drug screen upon arrival (includes marijuana testing)
• Must be available to complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting offer
• Orientation modules average 6-8 hours and are completed during orientation
• Hard document deadline: Thursday 2pm CST prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Maintain professional nursing standards while effectively interacting with patients and visitors
