Job Description: - Shift: Nights, 7PM - 7AM - Full-time position Are You a Skilled ICU Nurse Looking for a New Challenge? - Bring your years of ICU experience to a unit dedicated to high-quality patient care! - Work with diverse cases including: - DKA - s/p STEMIs - Stroke (s/p TNK) - Intubated/vented patients - ARDS - MODS - CHF exacerbations - COPD exacerbations - GI bleeds - Renal failure (CRRT/SLED) - Liver failure - IABP - Impellas Your Role: - Deliver exceptional nursing care utilizing the nursing process: - Assessment - Diagnosis - Planning - Intervention - Evaluation - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. - Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor for side effects and effectiveness. - Document patient history, symptoms, and care provided meticulously. - Assess patient learning needs and provide essential education to patients and families. - Lead and collaborate with other care providers effectively while managing clinical situations. Requirements: - Education: - Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. - Experience: - Minimum of 1 year in a Critical Care setting required. - Licenses/Certifications: - BLS (AHA only) - ACLS (AHA only) - NIHSS required - RN License in TX or compact.
