Travel Registered Nurse - CVICU in Georgetown, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Florence, South Carolina.
Job Description and Requirements

Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with holiday rotation
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratios
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs, with agency staff floating first
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must wear royal blue scrubs
• Chart using Epic system
• Care for adults and geriatric patients, primarily post open heart surgery
• Work with specialized equipment including chest tubes, IABP, Impella, CRRT, temporary pacers, Swan Ganz, and cardiac output monitors
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule accommodation may be requested but not guaranteed
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler if previously permanent staff

This acute care hospital features 276 total staffed beds and provides comprehensive cardiovascular intensive care services. The facility operates a modern CVICU with advanced cardiac monitoring equipment and specialized post-operative cardiac surgery care. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and phlebotomy, maintaining high standards for cardiac patient care and utilizing Epic charting systems for comprehensive patient documentation.
