Day Shift-
This need is for a Cardiothoracic OR RN with surgical tech background required. We will be starting an open heart program in November. This is a new service line for us. covering CV and thoracic cases while waiting for hearts to start. They’ll be scheduled Monday – Friday and will be on call for CV, CT and hearts 50% of their time. The volume will be very low. One surgeon, new to us so a lot of standby but very little call back is anticipated.
Education and Work Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
