Job Description

Step into an energizing opportunity as a Registered Nurse specializing in Electrophysiology in Rochester, New York, where your clinical expertise helps restore rhythm, reduce symptoms, and improve patients’ quality of life. In this fast paced EP environment, you’ll collaborate with top cardiology teams to map, monitor, and optimize complex arrhythmia care, guiding patients from procedure to recovery. And when you’re not in the lab, explore New York’s diverse beauty—from the lake shores and vibrant fall colors of the Finger Lakes region to Rochester’s rich cultural scene and nearby scenic getaways. The Empire State’s varied landscape offers opportunities for weekend adventures, quiet reflective spaces, and a sense of renewal after demanding shifts. Location benefits go beyond a single hospital floor. You’ll work in a bustling EP lab within Rochester’s renowned medical community, known for cutting edge electrophysiology procedures and multidisciplinary collaboration. You’ll have access to ongoing training, mentorship, and pathways for professional growth within a top tier cardiology program. For those who crave a broader horizon, there are opportunities to extend your experience across other EP centers nationwide, exposing you to diverse patient populations, equipment suites, and procedural techniques. The Rochester area itself boasts parklands, riverside trails, an active arts and dining scene, and a cost of living that supports a balanced lifestyle. Practically, you’ll enjoy reliable facilities, modern EP equipment, and a team culture that respects your expertise while welcoming your curiosity. This role is designed to blend clinical challenge with the chance to return to a welcoming home base each week, while also offering the flexibility to broaden your horizons through locations across the country. Role specifics and benefits come together to create a compelling career step. As an EP RN, you’ll provide comprehensive preprocedure and postprocedure nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic studies, ablation, and device interventions such as pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator implants and revisions. You’ll assist physicians and EP technologists during procedures, monitor hemodynamics and rhythm, manage anticoagulation and sedation considerations as directed, and ensure sterile technique and safety standards are maintained throughout. You’ll participate in device programming and interrogation, help with remote monitoring setup, and guide patients through discharge planning and education to foster adherence and confidence in their ongoing care. You’ll contribute to data collection, charting, and quality improvement initiatives, helping to refine protocols and patient outcomes. You’ll work with state‑of‑the‑art mapping systems and imaging tools, staying engaged with evolving EP techniques and best practices. This role offers a clear pathway for professional growth in electrophysiology, opportunities to pursue certifications, and the chance to collaborate with experienced cardiology professionals on research and clinical initiatives. In addition to clinical duties, you’ll benefit from supportive scheduling, access to continuing education, and the chance to become a go‑to resource for patients adapting to new rhythm management therapies. Benfits include a competitive compensation package designed to recognize your expertise. The role offers a weekly pay range of approximately $2,377 to $2,456, with the added upside of a sign‑on bonus and housing assistance to ease a comfortable transition. You may also be eligible for contract extension opportunities, enabling you to deepen your EP specialization while continuing to grow your professional network. While traveling with the company, you’ll receive 24/7 support from a dedicated clinical and logistics team that coordinates shifts, travel logistics, housing, and any onsite needs, ensuring you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Please note that the hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary; final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
