Job Description and Requirements • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/19/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Weekdays with every other weekend required • Guaranteed 36 hours per week • Patient ratio of 4:1 • Float within scope to meet facility needs if needed • No call requirements • Minimum 2 years RN experience required with 1 year minimum in-specialty experience • First-time travelers accepted if they have appropriate experience • Patient population: Infants to geriatrics • Care for neurological, orthopedic, psychiatric, and renal emergencies with special focus on trauma • Work with high psychiatric population with no separate psychiatric area • Manage boarding of multiple high acuity patients • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI (CPI available through Qualivis) • Skills required: IV starts, telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias • Experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, chest tube management • Handle traumatic cases including gunshot wounds and traumatic amputations • WV or Compact RN license required (pending license acceptable) • Must have permanent address greater than 100 miles from facility • 16 hours of orientation provided • Complete non-billable modules (2-4 hours) prior to start date Facility: This healthcare facility operates a Level 1 Trauma Center with a 24-bed emergency department that provides comprehensive emergency medical services.
