Job Description and Requirements • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/02/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Weekends and holidays required as needed • No on-call responsibilities • Patient ratio of 4:1 for all shifts • 2+ years of ER experience required • First-time travelers accepted if they have 2+ years ER experience • South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH • Epic experience required • Royal blue scrubs required for ER • May be required to float between downtown and northeast campuses based on census and staffing needs • Facility can call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics • Handle approximately 110 visits per day in 23-room emergency department • Perform procedures including chest tubes, procedural sedation, intubation, TPA/TNK administration • Work with specialized equipment including ventilators and BiPAP • Must be available during hurricane season (June-November) for potential emergency response team assignments • Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours prior to start • Free parking provided with distributed pass Facility: This acute care hospital features 75 staffed beds and provides comprehensive emergency services with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support. The facility is STEMI and stroke certified, equipped to handle a wide variety of emergency cases including trauma, cardiac events, and complex medical conditions. The emergency department operates with modern technology and maintains high standards for patient care across all age groups.
