Job Description and Requirements • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/09/2026 • Duration: 17 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Patient ratio of 1:4 • Weekend requirement every 3rd-4th weekend • Holiday requirement every other holiday • Minimum 5+ years experience in Level 1 Trauma Facility with minimum 2 years acute care experience required • No first-time travelers accepted • Must have current TNCC certification and Meditech 6.15 experience • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS or NIHSS, TNCC • Must pass online Cardiac Rhythms test (minimum 80% score) and ESI Triage Exam during orientation • Must have current driver's license and adhere to 75-mile radius rule • Scrub color requirement: Caribbean Blue • Floor-specific orientation of 1-2 shifts depending on comfort level • Nurses perform own lab draws and IV starts • Work with Alaris pumps and Meditech 6.15 EMR system • Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma cases • Work in 25 monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, 6 fast treatment chairs, 2 trauma bays, and dedicated stroke room • Handle approximately 140 patient visits per day • Support from 2-3 nurse aides/paramedics per shift and dedicated respiratory therapy • Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Level 1 Trauma Center emergency department featuring advanced trauma capabilities and specialized stroke services.
