Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients. The ICU RN will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU
Monitor vital signs, ventilators, and life-support equipment
Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed
Assess patient responses and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on critical care plans and post-ICU recovery
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
Follow strict infection control and safety procedures
Qualifications
Active RN license in applicable state(s)
Minimum 1–2 years of ICU experience preferred
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
Strong knowledge of ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care protocols
Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
