Job Description and Requirements • Specialty: CVICU • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/10/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - CVICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Must be available to work every other weekend • Must be available for at least one holiday • May request up to 1 week of requested time off (RTO) • Overtime is billable after 48 hours • Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience required • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required • Must be able to care for post-operative open heart patients • Experience with Impella and IABP required • Current Michigan State nursing license required • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred • Provide leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care • Utilize nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Delegate, supervise and document patient care and family teaching • Communicate pertinent patient/family information to healthcare team • Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiovascular intensive care unit specializing in post-operative cardiac care and advanced cardiac interventions.
