Shift:
4 × 10-hour shifts | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Rotating weekday off
On-call required: approximately every 10th weekend and 2 weekday nights every 6 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Prepare patients pre-procedure and monitor patients intra- and post-procedure
• Administer medications, including moderate sedation, per physician orders and protocols
• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to emergencies during procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and assist physicians during IR procedures
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Participate in on-call coverage for emergent and after-hours procedures
Required Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or Critical Care experience
• Ability to take weekday and weekend call as scheduled
Current Certifications:
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior Interventional Radiology nursing experience
• Experience with moderate sedation, Level 1 Trauma Experience
• Critical care or procedural nursing background
