Responsibilities • Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting • Cares for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients with approximately 120-130 births per year • Unit includes 3 LandD beds and postpartum care is provided in patient rooms with 2 overflow rooms • Night shifts from 6pm to 6am, 12 hours in length • Float to MedSurg may be required • Uses Athena EMR and PeriCalm fetal monitoring system • Shared CNA support between Med/Surg and LandD • Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum phases • Collaborate with family practice providers, as there are no in-house OB/Neonatologist or 24/7 RT • On-call pharmacy services are available • Scrubs may be any solid color Requirements • Active UT or compact state RN license required • Minimum 2 years of recent LandD experience • Current BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required • Experience with Athena EMR and PeriCalm system preferred Benefits • High Pay and Bonuses • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options • 401(k) Plan • Weekly Payroll Deposit • Free Online CEUs • Generous Housing Allowance • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy • Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-663019.
