This position is covering a vacancy and offers a mixed evening and night shift schedule with weekend rotation. This role is RN-only and requires current AHA BLS certification. Assignment Details • Location: New Jersey • Contract Length: 18 weeks • Schedule: Combination of evenings and nights • 3 Evening Shifts: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM • 2 Night Shifts: 11:15 PM – 7:15 AM (or facility standard) • Shift Type: 8-hour shifts • Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend required Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to residents in an assisted living / LTC setting • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed • Monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly • Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation • Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams • Ensure compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards • Support resident comfort, safety, and quality of care Requirements • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license • Long-Term Care or Assisted Living experience preferred • AHA BLS certification required • Ability to work evening and night shifts with weekend rotation • Must meet all compliance and credentialing requirements • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills This travel assignment is ideal for RNs seeking a longer-term contract, a varied evening/night schedule, and experience in an assisted living / long-term care environment.
