Job Description and Requirements • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/16/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work in Med/Surg ICU with drips, vents, bipaps and occasionally arterial or CVP monitoring • Patient ratio is typically 1 nurse to 2 patients • ICU holds medical overflow non-icu patients at times • Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics • 6-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support • May float to different units as needed • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS • Kansas nursing license or compact license required at time of submission • Minimum 1 year of experience required • Previous charge experience preferred • 1 reference required • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • Complete approximately 1 hour of non-billable modules pre-start • Perform comprehensive ICU nursing skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, and procedural sedation monitoring Facility: This regional medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on intensive care capabilities.
