Job Description and Requirements • Specialty: Med Surg • Discipline: RN • Start Date: ASAP • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Acute Care Med Surg Inpatient Job Details: • Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 6-week assignment duration • Must be available to work various days of the week • On-call responsibilities per unit needs • Minimum every other weekend required • Minimum 2 major and 2 minor holidays required • Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Provide relationship-based patient centered care for diverse populations • Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care • Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments • Participate in evidence-based practice and performance improvement activities • Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), Basic Life Support (BLS) • Associate's degree in nursing from accredited school required, Bachelor's degree preferred • Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing program • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills required • Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies • Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required Facility: This healthcare facility operates as part of a comprehensive health system that emphasizes evidence-based practice and professional development.
