Schedule

12-hour day shifts. A minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.
Job Description

The Tele RN will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a neurosurgical and surgical unit, ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained. The role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to assess and plan patient care effectively.
Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to patients in a neurosurgical and surgical unit.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Prior travel experience required.
• A minimum of 2 years of unit experience is required.
• Experience in a large, teaching facility is necessary.
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start.
• Epic experience from within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
