Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. The ideal candidate will have permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel and must possess a valid Ohio license or a compact state license. The role requires a commitment to obtaining necessary certifications and assessments prior to the start date.
Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Conduct ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Active nursing license in Ohio or a compact state
• Must be nicotine-free, with a negative drug screen required
