Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS certification required, ACLS and NIHSS preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Patient ratios: 5:1 during days, 6:1 during nights, 5:1 on weekends
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedic conditions, COPD, and sepsis
• May float to all medical-surgical floors including stroke patients and peritoneal dialysis units
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• 8-hour orientation required
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, IV management, blood product administration, wound care, chest tube management, and various specialized procedures
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Manager interview required
• No license hits accepted

The hospital maintains high standards for patient care and provides specialized services for post-cardiac surgery patients and various medical conditions.
