Travel Registered Nurse - Med Surg in East Helena, MT
Job Description
GLC Group is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – MedSurg for a travel contract in beautiful Helena, Montana.
Assignment Details
• Location: Helena, MT
• Shift: 3x12 Nights
• Hours: 36 hrs/week guaranteed
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Floating: Required between Medical floor and Surg/Onc
• EMR: EPIC
• Radius Rule: Must live 200+ miles from facility
Pay Package
• Taxable Rate: $20/hr
• Stipend: $1,442 weekly
• OT Rate: $55/hr
• Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,162
Requirements
• 2 years recent MedSurg experience
• Prior travel RN experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Valid RN license (MT or Compact)
• AHA BLS required
• Must be willing to float as needed
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality patient care to diverse MedSurg populations
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and perform treatments per provider orders
• Document accurately using EPIC
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes
• Float to Surg/Onc and medical floors as assigned
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery
