Job Description and Requirements • Specialty: Med Surg • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/25/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work on a 25-bed Med/Surg unit with nurse to patient ratio typically 1:3 or 1:4 • Six-week scheduling pattern including weekend requirements • Depending on census, may work alone while second nurse is placed on call • Complete daily patient assessments and medication administration • Monitor IV drips and telemetry systems • Handle patient admissions and discharges • Participate in daily interdisciplinary team rounds • Assist with patient transfers as needed • Utilize Centriq EHR system for documentation • Use Pyxis medication dispensing system • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS • Valid Michigan RN license required • Dress code: Scrubs of any color Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a focus on quality patient care.
