Opportunity: RN - NICU Job Details: • Work in 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU on 6th floor • Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity • Must have 2+ years Level III or higher NICU experience • Required certification: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) • Preferred certifications: Stable and NIC-RNC • Float to Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother Baby (babies only) as needed • Work every other weekend • Must be detail-oriented and organized • Use Cerner EMR system • Dress code requires navy blue scrubs • Day shift staffing includes 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, 2 respiratory therapists, and tech support • Night shift staffing includes 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, and 2 respiratory therapists Facility: This 815-bed acute care facility serves as the regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care in western North Carolina. The hospital is the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and children's hospital in the region. The facility features an onsite children's hospital with 96 beds dedicated to infants and children, including a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU with 30 pediatric subspecialists. The hospital offers comprehensive services including cardiovascular care, orthopedics, neurosciences, oncology, pediatrics, women's services, and behavioral health.
