Travel Registered Nurse - NICU in Damascus, OR

Opportunity:

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend requirement: 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays in a 6-week period
• Holiday requirement: At least 1 holiday per assignment
• On-call may be required depending on unit needs
• Care for patients within scope of competency for patients less than one year of age
• Float to PICU, Pediatric Acute (Infants floor), or NICU Overflow Location as needed
• Attend high-risk deliveries and assist with neonatal care
• Work with specialized neonatal equipment including neonatal beds, Neopuff, and NicView cameras
• Perform special procedures including PICC placement for neonates, UAC/UVC line placement, exchange transfusions, body cooling, and CRRT
• Minimum 1 year of experience required with previous travel experience mandatory
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Oregon state license required or proof of application/fingerprints must be submitted
• Epic experience required for all RNs
• Scrubs: any color except black and camouflage
• Must complete assigned education within one week of assignment
• Refusal to float as requested will result in contract cancellation
• Locals not accepted - cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility
• No RTO within first week of start date, maximum 7 days RTO per assignment

Facility:

This specialized children's hospital provides comprehensive neonatal intensive care services with 45 beds and a daily census of 28 patients. The facility offers three different levels of NICU care for newborns who may stay from one day to over 100 days. The unit features advanced technology and specialized equipment for neonatal care, with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. The facility uses Epic charting system and provides free parking in unrestricted spaces.
