Healthcare Job Details • Location: Indianapolis, IN 46202 • Healthcare Setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital – Transplant Operating Room Unit • Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract • Start Date: January 26, 2026 • End Date: April 27, 2026 • Contract Duration: 13 weeks • Nursing Shifts: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:30) • Hours per Week: 36 • Call Requirement: 40-60 hours per 6-week period • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week • Parking: Free Registered Nurse Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of recent transplant OR nursing experience (liver transplant experience required) • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state (temporary licenses accepted) • BLS certification required • Regulatory Charting for Transplants certification required • Experience with Cerner charting system preferred • Willingness to float to other surgical specialties and affiliate hospitals • Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during contract • Two supervisor references required • Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Transplant OR Nurse Responsibilities • Deliver perioperative nursing care for abdominal transplant surgeries (liver, kidney, pancreas, intestinal/multivisceral) • Assist with recipient procedures for liver transplants • Float to other surgical specialties and support pediatric transplant cases at affiliate hospitals • Participate in scheduled on-call rotation • Ensure accurate regulatory charting and documentation for transplant cases • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and universal procedures Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Transplant OR RN in Indianapolis and make a difference in transplant patient care!
