Job Description and Requirements • Specialty: OR - Operating Room • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/23/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, days • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • ASAP start required • 2 years of experience required • Travel experience required • BLS certification required • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics • Handle approximately 25 OR cases daily across 7 operating rooms • Required skills include arthroscopy, arthrotomy, carpal tunnel release, closed reduction of fractures, laminectomy/discectomy, open reduction of fractures, total joint replacement, and laparoscopic assisted cases • Perform general OR procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, mastectomy, and thyroidectomy • Responsibilities include code response, fire safety, infection control, specimen handling/labeling, and universal protocol procedures • Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract • Labs and drug screen appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing • Two supervisor references required • Manager interviews are not guaranteed • Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract with no time off permitted during first two weeks Facility: This medical center features a comprehensive surgical department with 7 operating rooms handling approximately 25 cases daily.
