A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 8-hour day shifts • Call required • Must have 2 years of nursing experience and travel experience • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in operating room patient care • Work as member of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel • Ensure supplies and timeliness of surgical cases • Communicate with patient families • Update physician preference cards • Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures • Supervise personnel delivering patient care • Provide care according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards • Follow physician orders, hospital policies and surgical department procedures Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive surgical department with a focus on delivering high-quality operating room services.
