• Healthcare Setting: T12 Medical PCU / Step Down Unit
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts

Registered Nurse Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent experience as a PCU RN or Step Down Registered Nurse
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
PCU Nurse Responsibilities
• Deliver direct patient care to adults requiring intermediate level monitoring and specialized interventions
• Monitor vital signs, assess changes in patient condition, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform nursing procedures within scope of practice
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Accurately document all nursing care provided in a timely manner
