Compensation
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2050–$2200 per week
PCU RN Job Details – Vermont Travel Nursing Assignment
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Springfield, VT 05156 (Vermont healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Inpatient Progressive Care Unit (IPCU) – Adaptive Acuity
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: March 30, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and holiday coverage as required
PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications
• Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• Charge nurse experience (must be willing and able to take charge as needed)
• Drip and infusion experience required
• ICU nursing experience strongly preferred
• At least 3 months of previous travel nursing experience required
• Willingness to float to any inpatient unit within RN scope of practice
• Experience in small, critical access healthcare facilities preferred
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
PCU RN Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality patient care in an adaptive acuity Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting (typical nurse:patient ratio 1:5; may provide PCU care at 3:1 ratio as needed)
• Serve as charge nurse as required
• Administer and monitor drips and infusions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other inpatient units as needed within RN scope of practice
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold healthcare facility standards
• Participate in orientation and ongoing nursing training as required
