Travel Registered Nurse-PCU in Ashley, OH
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide exceptional patient care across diverse healthcare settings in Columbus Ohio.
• Specialty: PCU HIGH ACUITY. ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
• Discipline: Registered Nurse
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Contract-13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: Days/Nights 12 hour

Highlights:
• Specialize in caring for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients in a 24-bed medical oncology unit
• High-acuity environment with blood product administration, IV antibiotics, and electrolyte management
• EPIC charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and Social Services
• Flexible self-scheduling model to accommodate preferred schedule requests
• Strong emphasis on infection prevention protocols and patient safety initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required; previous travel experience required
• Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ONS Chemo Cert and NIHSS preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and MS/Tele skills
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, central line blood draws, PICC line management, and starting IVs
• Competency with feeding tube care, blood product administration, and peripheral line management
• EPIC charting experience required
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
