Job Description and Requirements • Specialty: Telemetry • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/23/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 13-week assignment with 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM • Patient ratio of 1:5 • 1 year of experience required, 2 years preferred • First-time travelers accepted • 8 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday) • Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed • Floating required between departments, units, and facilities as needed • Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS preferred • Epic charting system experience • 12 hours of orientation provided • Maximum 7 days request time off allowed • No on-call requirements • Must have Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact state license • 2 years of recent specialty experience required with full year in-specialty within past 12 months • Two references required from past year (one supervisor level or above) • Care for patients with stroke, heart failure, respiratory failure, pneumonia, post-surgical patients, renal failure, and cardiac conditions • Skills include telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, central line care, heparin protocols, wound care, and respiratory management • Preferred skills include PCU/stepdown experience, vasoactive drips, chest tubes, and tracheostomy management Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical surgical telemetry unit with 30 beds serving adult and geriatric populations.
