Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Stepdown /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotating schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM /n• Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs of the hospital /n• Must work at least every other holiday /n• Minimum 18 months permanent experience in stepdown specialty required prior to travel /n• Minimum 18 months recent stepdown experience required (travel experience acceptable) /n• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred but not required /n• Must have permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand /n• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS /n• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with acceptable scores /n• Maximum 2 attempts to pass assessments or contract will be canceled /n• Complete pre-start modules averaging 6-15 hours via Silkroad system /n• Pick up badge and complete onsite fingerprints prior to start date /n• Complete BCI/FBI prints within 48 hours of signing contract /n• One reference from manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in specialty required /n• Submit hours worked through Qualivis Lotus system /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center operates a Heart, Vascular, Thoracic Institute (HVTI) stepdown unit providing specialized care for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and treatment.
