Job Description and Requirements • Specialty: Telemetry • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/23/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM • 3x12 schedule working three 12-hour shifts per week • Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per 13-week contract • Holiday coverage required per unit needs • Float required within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity • 2 years of nursing experience required • First time travelers accepted • Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS • Skills required: Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias • Care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions including CHF, MI, atrial fibrillation, cardiac dysrhythmias, stroke/TIA, ESRD, seizures, COPD, diabetes, pneumonia, and sepsis • Perform special procedures including peritoneal dialysis, NIHSS assessments, and dysrhythmia/telemetry monitoring • Work with specialized equipment including safe patient handling equipment and ceiling lifts in every room • Patient ratio varies with 34-bed unit and daily census of 27 • 36 hours of orientation provided • Access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams • Must have either compact license or MD license • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • Two supervisor references required Facility: This acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on cardiac and telemetry care.
