Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a small critical access hospital in Hawaii, requiring a HI RN license and at least two years of ED experience. Requirements • Active HI RN license required by start date • Minimum two years of Emergency Department experience • Current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required Responsibilities • Work in a small critical access hospital covering ER, acute care, and long-term care areas • No separate units; RNs are cross-trained to provide care in all areas • Emergency, acute, and long-term care patient populations • Schedule consists of six 12-hour shifts within a two-week period with every third weekend off • If no patients in ER, may be assigned to acute or LTC areas for backup support • RNs may be assigned to pass medications and perform procedures for acute and LTC patients as needed • Initial onboarding includes HR and employee health clearance in Hilo and in-person paperwork at the hospital • This is not a latex free facility • First time travelers are welcome to apply Benefits • High Pay and Bonuses • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options • 401(k) Plan • Weekly Payroll Deposit • Free Online CEUs • Generous Housing Allowance • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy • Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-666710 Open Positions: 1
