Job Title: RN – Medical Surgical – Nights Assignment Length: 13 weeks with possible extension Location: Herrin, IL Shift: Night Shift (7pm to 7am) with EOW. Gross weekly Pay Rate: $2,340/week (based on 36 hours) Patient Ratio: 5:1 Job Overview InfiCare Health is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical RN for a night shift role on a Medical Stroke Unit. This position requires strong med-surg fundamentals, comfort managing stroke patients, and the ability to work independently in an acute care setting. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients • Manage patient assignments with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital policy • Monitor and support stroke patients in a medical stroke unit Requirements (Must Have) • Active RN license (Illinois or Compact, as applicable) • BLS (AHA preferred) - Required. • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification – required • Recent adult Medical-Surgical RN experience (1+ Year) • Ability to work night shifts • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience on a medical stroke unit • Acute care hospital experience • Comfortable managing full med-surg patient loads independently Who We Are?
