Job Description: Travel RN - Wound Care
Are you a skilled and compassionate nurse with expertise in wound management? We are currently seeking an experienced Travel RN - Wound Care to provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring treatment for acute, chronic, and surgical wounds. As a Travel RN in Wound Care, you will deliver advanced clinical care while enjoying the flexibility and rewards of travel nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Wound Assessment: Evaluate patient wounds, including pressure ulcers, surgical incisions, diabetic ulcers, and traumatic injuries, to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Treatment and Care: Perform wound dressings, debridement, infection management, and advanced wound therapies.
• Patient Education: Teach patients and families about wound care techniques, preventive measures, and lifestyle practices that promote healing.
• Collaboration: Work alongside physicians, wound care specialists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Documentation: Accurately record wound assessments, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Travel Flexibility: Adapt to new clinical environments and bring wound care expertise to different healthcare facilities.
Requirements:
• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of wound care or related clinical experience.
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN, CWCN, or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
• Willingness to travel and work across multiple facilities.
