Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting. • Participate in ongoing professional development and training. • Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the lab. • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures. • Contribute to achieving departmental and organizational targets. • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes. • Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care. • Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Evaluate and implement best practices for patient care. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care. Experience/Qualifications • Current RN license in Alaska with a focus on cardiac care. • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training opportunities. • Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar critical care environment. • Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control measures. • Willingness to engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives. • Demonstrated ability to achieve departmental and organizational targets. • Strong ability to monitor and assess patients' vital signs accurately. • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. • Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely documentation. • Effective communication skills for patient and family education.
