Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting. • Participate in ongoing professional development and training. • Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the lab. • Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives. • Contribute to achieving departmental and organizational targets. • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes. • Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care. • Evaluate and implement best practices for patient care. Experience/Qualifications • Active RN license in Louisiana or compact state for travel nursing. • Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or similar critical care settings. • Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and training. • Ability to monitor and interpret patients' vital signs effectively. • Demonstrated skills in patient education and family communication. • Experience with performance measurement and quality improvement initiatives. • Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation of patient care. • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. • Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures. • Willingness to adapt and implement best practices in patient care.
