6:45 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week on an observation unit, every other weekend, with holiday assignments one winter and one summer during the contract. Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patients' needs, managing patient care, and advocating for evidence-based practices. Responsibilities

Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plan of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years recent telemetry experience is required. Candidates should possess: ASN degree from an accredited nursing school. Active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. BLS certification - AHA and NIHSS certification.
