Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Job Description The Telemetry Float Registered Nurse will provide care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring. The nurse will be responsible for reading rhythms, managing critical drips, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities
Monitor patients‘ vital signs and telemetry readings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Provide education and support to patients and families.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Pass a hospital proctored test for rhythm identification with required accuracy.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Active NY State RN License.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience.
Proven ability to identify rhythms with a passing score of >80% accuracy.
Experience with critical drips and CVA management preferred.
Flu vaccine or exemption required.
Familiarity with Epic charting system is essential.
