Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - High Point, North Carolina in High Point, NC

A travel nursing opportunity is available for experienced registered nurses skilled in telemetry and medical-surgical care. The role includes responsibilities for observation patients, respiratory conditions, diabetes care, palliative and hospice support, psychiatric observation, and surgical patient management. Previous charge nurse experience and familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records are advantageous. Responsibilities : • Provide skilled nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients. • Manage complex patient conditions including respiratory, diabetic, psychiatric, and end-of-life care. • Administer treatments and monitor patient progress. • Utilize EPIC for documentation and communication. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient-centered care. • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and pass mandated EKG exam. • Float across Cone Health facilities as needed. Qualifications / Desired Experience : • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience. • Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing strongly preferred. • First-time travelers are welcome to apply. • BLS certification required. • Previous Charge RN experience preferred. • Willingness to work nights (3x12-hour shifts, 7pm-7am) with rotating holidays and float responsibilities. • Ability to pass an EKG competency exam during onboarding.
