Urgent Hiring: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

Location: Manhattan, NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night | 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
Pay: $2,897.50 per week (Travel)

Job Summary

We are urgently hiring experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurses to support a high-acuity Med/Surg ICU/CCU unit with increased patient volume. This role is best suited for ICU nurses comfortable with night shifts, critical care monitoring, and hands-on clinical procedures.

Responsibilities
• Provide direct care to critically ill ICU/CCU patients
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and hemodynamics
• Administer medications, IV drips, blood products, and conscious sedation
• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy
• Operate and monitor ICU equipment (cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators as needed)
• Respond to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team
• Document care accurately in the EMR
• Follow hospital policies and patient safety standards

Requirements
• Experience:
• 2+ years recent ICU experience (Med/Surg ICU or CCU)
• 2+ years experience with conscious sedation
• 2+ years IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• Education:
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN)
• License:
• Active New York State RN License
• NYSED Primary Source Verification required
• Certifications:
• AHA BLS (Current)
• AHA ACLS (Current)
