Job Overview: In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to work across various regional offices, bringing diversity to your daily responsibilities while collaborating with multiple teams and communities.
As a Registered Nurse, you will work under the guidance of nursing leadership and collaborate closely with providers. You will utilize evidence-based practices in line with the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and our internal policies to deliver exceptional care to a diverse patient population. Your responsibilities include:
• Delivering holistic, patient-centered care in a non-acute setting, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Implementing evidence-based practices to ensure the highest standards of quality care and customer satisfaction.
• Incorporating the art and science of nursing into daily practice, including effective advocacy and ethical consideration.
• Engaging in research and proactively implementing evidence-based practices.
• Regularly evaluating and adjusting care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient and family needs.
• Documenting patient problems and expected outcomes based on established care plans.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred. Successful completion of a nurse residency program, if applicable.
Experience: At least one year of experience or a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse.
Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. Certified BLS Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA). Additional certifications may be needed for specific specialties.
