Job Description
Weekend Nursing Supervisor
We are looking for a Weekend Nursing Supervisor to plan, implement, and coordinate nursing services for designated shift.
Required Qualifications
The Weekend Nursing Supervisor must possess:
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Skilled Nursing Home LTC: 2 years (Preferred)
• Supervisor: 2 years (Preferred)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervises and evaluates performance of staff nurses and nursing assistants on designated shift.
• Performs duties of staff nurse as required.
• Plans effective administration of assigned shift.
• Responsible for knowing Fire, Safety, and Disaster Manual and how to direct subordinates in prevention drills, emergency, and other related situations.
• Responsible for care and use of supplies and equipment.
• Assesses and evaluates nursing service needs.
• Responsible for in-depth assessment of assigned new admissions and re-admissions within one week of admission.
• Responsible for identification of patient's problems and care plan initiation and implementation including periodic patient reassessment care plan evaluation and revision at least every three months.
Full vaccination against COVID-19 or a medical/religious exemption is required.
Salary/Wage Range
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
