Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America)
Pay Range: $32.00 - $48.00 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience)
Position Highlights:
• 12 hour shifts 3a-3p or 3p-3a weekend contract
• May be eligible for a $6000 Sign on Bonus
Student Loan Repayment: This Registered Nurse (RN) position may be eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which assists in paying off your loans and saving money. Each month, an additional $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help decrease your principal balance faster.

A Brief Overview
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, and providing comprehensive support to patients, families, and friends. You will ensure that patient understanding of conditions, medications, and self-care skills is achieved while continually assessing and adapting care plans to meet individual needs.
Your Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
• Develop nursing care plans through medical history assessments, examinations, and collaboration with patients and their families.
• Educate patients and their families about healthcare requirements and answer any questions they may have.
• Evaluate patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards and modifying care plans as needed based on patient progress.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment by following infection control protocols and organizational standards.
• Document patient care services accurately and thoroughly.
• Ensure patient care equipment is operational and supply stock is maintained.
• Continuously maintain and enhance nursing competencies as outlined by leadership.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Board of Nursing in the state of practice upon hire.
Preferred Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical environment.
