Work Shift: Day Shift (United States of America)

Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $48.00, with the actual pay depending on experience.

Position Highlights:

HOURS: 6am-6:30pm; Weekend Warrior - work 5 out of 6 weekends (Fri, Sat, and Sun) & 2 out of 3 holidays for a 25% incentive

May be eligible for $30,000 sign-on bonus!

RN Requirements: An active RN license in the state of practice.

Student Loan Repayment: This position may qualify for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which can help you pay off your loans faster with an additional payment of $167 per month (up to $10,000) from Avera.

LPN pay scale: $24.00 - 28.63 - 33.25

RN pay scale: $32.00 - 40.00 - 48.00

A Brief Overview: As a nurse, you will deliver exceptional care by assessing residents, developing nursing diagnoses, setting care objectives, and providing crucial physical, emotional, and spiritual support to residents and their families.

What You Will Do:
• Provide personalized resident care by working closely with physicians and coordinating with healthcare team members.
• Develop comprehensive nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories and documenting residents' conditions.
• Educate residents and their families about care goals, medication management, and self-care skills.
• Evaluate care plans regularly and adjust them based on residents' changing needs.
• Ensure a safe and healthy care environment in compliance with infection-control protocols and legal regulations.
• Maintain and manage resident care equipment to ensure it operates effectively.
• Coordinate the admission, discharge, and transfer process for residents.
• Guide and supervise nursing assistants and other staff members.
• Stay current in nursing practice standards as per leadership guidance.

Essential Qualifications: This role requires essential skills including effective communication, visual acuity for performing duties, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities when possible.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the state of practice upon hire.

Preferred Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical or long-term care environment.
