Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide in-home wound care services to our patients. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, detail-oriented, and experienced in wound assessment, treatment, and documentation. Key Responsibilities • Perform comprehensive wound assessments and measurements • Provide wound care treatments per physician orders (including complex wounds) • Change dressings and manage wound vacs (if applicable) • Monitor for signs of infection or complications and report changes promptly • Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention • Accurately document visits, wound progress, and patient response to treatment • Coordinate care with physicians, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team • Maintain compliance with state regulations, agency policies, and standards of care Requirements • Active Virginia RN or LPN license (in good standing) • Minimum 1 year of wound care experience (home health preferred) • Knowledge of wound types (pressure injuries, surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, etc.) • Strong assessment and documentation skills • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • Current CPR certification • TB screening and background check required Preferred Qualifications • Home health experience • Wound certification (WCC, WOCN, or similar) • Experience with electronic documentation systems What We Offer • Competitive per-visit or hourly pay • Flexible scheduling • Supportive leadership and clinical guidance • Opportunity to grow with a expanding agency Job Types: Full-time, PRN Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour Benefits: • Referral program Work Location: On the road
